The U.S. Supreme Court April 23 agreed to take on two appeals involving the oft-litigated Armed Career Criminal Act, this time on the subject of burglary.
The justices had just agreed April 2 to take on a robbery convict’s challenge under the act, which the court will also hear sometime next term, which begins October 2018.
They’ll add these latest cases to next term’s docket via appeals from the government, which lost both cases in separate federal courts of appeal below. The high court consolidated the two cases for one argument.
