FCA Investors Seek Final Nod for $5 Million Deal in Bribe Suit

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV investors who say it misled them about a purported bribery scheme and its effects on the company’s bargaining with union members asked a federal judge in New York to approve their $5 million settlement.

The “significant” cash deal is an “excellent result” given the risks of continued litigation, investors in the automaker—known as Stellantis NV following a 2021 merger—said in a memo filed as part of their final settlement approval bid in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
