Wyndham Loses Bid to Dismiss Suit Over Sexual Assault in Turkey

Wyndham Hotel Group LLC and related companies must continue to face a U.S. State Department employee’s claims alleging she was sexually assaulted by a massage therapist at an Istanbul hotel operating under the Wyndham name, a federal court in Delaware said.

Jane Roe’s claims hinge on whether the Wyndham defendants had control over the hotel, which can’t be resolved on a dismissal motion, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware said.
