The former information technology director for Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 in Alameda, Calif., was arrested Friday after being charged with a $4.5 million scheme to defraud the union.
Scott Wilson, of Texas, allegedly abused his authority at the union, where he had the ability to buy goods and services. He is accused of setting up a front company, OST, and using it to receive funds from the union.
