Trump Announces 9 Male Judicial Nominees

President Donald Trump announced a 13th wave of judicial nominees April 26.

Unlike the last wave, all nine of the judicial nominees are men. The 12th wave, which listed 20 nominees, included six women.

Senate Republicans are moving to confirm judicial nominees quickly before midterm elections, when there is a chance they could lose the Senate.

One new nominee, District Judge Richard Sullivan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, would bring the Second Circuit even closer to having a majority of Republican appointees if confirmed.
