Tennessee Reason Abortion Law Can Be Enforced During Court Fight

A Tennessee law prohibiting doctors from performing abortions when they know a woman wants to end her pregnancy because of the fetus’s sex, race, or prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome can take effect because the providers challenging it haven’t shown they’re likely to succeed in proving that it’s an unconstitutional ban on abortion, a federal court said.
