The Supreme Court refused to look at whether Medicaid recipients can challenge a state’s decision to keep Planned Parenthood off its list of qualified Medicaid providers.
The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services director appealed to the Supreme Court after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit held the Medicaid Act gives recipients a private right of action to challenge a state’s determination on whether a health-care provider can be in the Medicaid program.
