Supreme Court Scraps Ex-State Justice’s Suit Over Juror’s Tweets

A former chief justice of West Virginia’s high court lost his bid for a new hearing to look into tweets by a juror related to the fraud case against him, after the U.S. Supreme Court denied his petition for certiorari Monday.

Former West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Justice Allen H. Loughry II was convicted of mail and wire fraud and sentenced to two years in prison.
