The U.S. Supreme Court upheld a New York grand jury subpoena for President Donald Trump’s tax returns and other financial records, rejecting his call to give presidents complete immunity from criminal investigation while in office.
The vote was 7-2. The court could rule in a matter of minutes in another Trump subpoena case, involving congressional authority.
