Soccer Phenom, League Get Rulings Revoked, Making Deal Official

A 15-year-old athletic prodigy and the National Women’s Soccer League got a federal judge in Oregon to withdraw three antitrust rulings against the league as part of a deal resolving her court challenge to its minimum playing age.

Judge Karin J. Immergut agreed late Wednesday to vacate her decisions for the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, the same day the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit sent the case back so she could rescind them. The brief docket order didn’t contain any reasoning.
