Senators Seek Answers on Sex Harassment and Judiciary

The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee sought answers to reports of sex harassment allegations in the federal judiciary, specifically one that found a large number of complaints over a two-year period but only a few full investigations.

“We are deeply troubled by these news reports and allegations,” wrote Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and the panel’s top Democrat, Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), to the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, which oversees court operations.
