SCOTUS Grants Could Include Google–Oracle Dispute

The U.S. Law Week First Move will not publish on Monday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veteran’s Day. We will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

U.S. Supreme Court justices are in private conference today, discussing whether to take up appeals on topics ranging from a big Google-Oracle copyright case to whether a judge should’ve recused himself from a capital murder case because, as a prosecutor, he aggressively pursued the defendant in an unrelated matter.
