A Louisiana scaffolding company is appealing a job safety violation ruling tied to an incident in which a worker’s fall arrest system collapsed and he was dragged to the bottom of Galveston Bay in Texas and drowned.
Excel Modular Scaffold & Leasing Co., based in Walker, La., filed a petition Jan. 25 for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit to review the decision.
