Proposals Aim to Modernize Certain Appellate, Evidence Rules

Proposed amendments to federal appellate and evidentiary rules aim to modernize them and make them more user-friendly.

The amendments will be open for public commentuntil Feb. 15, 2018, according to the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. The Judicial Conference Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure approved publication of the proposed amendments.
