The NFL’s Miami Dolphins say a decades-old ruling bars a civil rights challenge, by residents of a Black neighborhood near Hard Rock stadium, to a plan to allow Formula One racing at the facility, according to a filing in the Southern District of Florida.
“This court has already considered and rejected the theory that allegedly disparate impacts from activities at the stadium can serve as the basis” for civil rights claims, the Dolphins told the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
