The Miami Dolphins and Miami-Dade County, Fla., won dismissal of a suit by residents of a Black neighborhood near the team’s Hard Rock stadium over a plan to allow Formula One racing at the site.
The residents of Miami Gardens, Fla., failed to show that the team and the county conspired to deprive them of their right to equal protection and freedom from racial discrimination by greenlighting the plan over their objections, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida said.
