New York Senate Confirms Nominations for State’s Highest Court

The New York State Senate on Tuesday confirmed the nomination of the Nassau County District Attorney and the New York City Civil Court administrative judge to fill vacancies on the state’s highest court.

Madeline Singas, who was first elected Nassau County D.A. in 2015, will replace Court of Appeals Associate Judge Leslie Stein, who retired this month.
