N.Y.'s Catholic Health Gets Appeals Shot at Whistleblower Ruling

Catholic Health System of Long Island Inc. and others may immediately appeal a novel ruling that a False Claims Act whistleblower adequately alleged they misused Medicaid funds for nursing home residents by spending it on workers compensation and other costs, a New York federal court said Monday.
