Justices Pass on Disabled Sanofi-Aventis Worker’s Job-Share Suit

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to review a former Sanofi-Aventis US LLC sales representative’s claim that she was unlawfully denied a job-share arrangement as an accommodation for her autoimmune disease.

The company’s action violated the Americans with Disabilities Act because it was allegedly based on a work rule that required managerial approval of permitted agreements between employees to split the duties of a single Job, Janet Perdue said in asking the justices to look at her case.

Sanofi opposed high court review.
