Former United Airlines Airport Worker Alleges Retaliation (1)

A former crew scheduler for United Airlines sued the company in San Francisco alleging it violated the Fair Employment and Housing Act by retaliating and ultimately firing him.

Chaz Adams said he reported a note someone posted on a management bulletin board at San Francisco International Airport, believing the message to be insulting to a colleague of Middle Eastern descent who worked at the nearby San Jose airport.

According to the complaint filed Nov. 25, Adams was subjected to retaliation including threatening text messages, unfair reviews, and veiled threats about his status as an “at-will employee.”
