Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and TH Milk Vietnam are setting aside their quest for Vietnamese consumers to rally against a common enemy: packaging waste.
They and other food and drink giants, like Nestle and Tetra Pak, joined forces in what they called a circular economy coalition June 21, aiming to make all their packaging in Vietnam recyclable by 2030.
As booming consumption turns Vietnam into a top source of ocean plastic, the companies said at a launch in Ho Chi Minh City that they would reduce waste by expanding recycling. That includes investing in a supply chain for recycled materials. ...
