Call of Duty Rips Off Pro Wrestler’s Character, Lawsuit Claims

Activision Publishing Inc. stole a former pro wrestler’s character to use in its “Call of Duty” series, a Feb. 12 copyright infringement complaint alleges.

Booker T. Huffman says Activision based a “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" character on his comic book hero “G.I. Bro.” without permission.

Huffman is a former professional wrestler and World Championship Wrestling champion. Huffman has published comic books centered on the character “G.I. Bro,” a retired special operations soldier based on Huffman himself.
