A Donald Trump-appointed district judge confirmed with bipartisan support is President Joe Biden’s latest nominee to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Stephanie Dawkins Davis sits on the U.S. District court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She would be the second Black woman to serve on the court and is the ninth Biden has nominated to an appeals court.
