ATF Bump Stock Ban Needs Tossing, Pro-Gun States, Allies Say (1)

Montana and 17 other states and gun-rights groups told a full federal appeals court that a national ban on bump stocks, which came about after high-profile mass shootings that afflicted the U.S. in recent years, should be lifted, according to new court filings.

The devices are accessories that increase the rate of semiautomatic firearms.
