A trade secrets dispute between two livestock nutrition companies was resolved in a Kansas federal district court, when the judge threw out misappropriation claims for failing to allege a link between two former employees’ knowledge of purported secrets and any improper use.
Biomin America Inc. said two former employees who accepted similar roles at a competing company, Lesaffre Yeast Corp., solicited Biomin employees and customers, using confidential information and trade secrets to market Lesaffre’s products.
