Former Nike-sponsored athlete Joel Stallworth adequately accused the retailer of racially profiling, harassing, and illegally detaining him outside a southern California storefront, he said in a filing in California federal court.
Stallworth asked a federal court not to dismiss claims against the store manager, who allegedly falsely accused him of stealing a child’s basketball.
