Updated Swiss-U.S. Tax Treaty Boosts Information Exchange

An update to the U.S.'s income tax treaty with Switzerland went into force Sept. 20, strengthening provisions that help the governments crack down on tax evasion by exchanging information that would otherwise be protected by bank secrecy laws.
