Universal Targets Kiddie Crowd in Texas Theme Park Just For Them

Comcast Corp.’s Universal division will open its first theme park aimed specifically at young children this summer in an effort to reach a demographic that may be overwhelmed by some of the attractions at its bigger parks.

The 20-acre Universal Kids Resort, will feature seven lands tied to some of the younger crowd’s favorite movie and TV characters, including Shrek’s Swamp, Jurassic World Adventure Camp and DreamWorks’ TrollsFest.
