The Dallas Mavericks entered into an option agreement to purchase 104 acres of land that previously housed the Valley View Mall, a move that would mean leaving the city’s downtown.
“We have the opportunity to create a vibrant mixed-use destination anchored by a state-of-the-art arena, along with restaurants, entertainment options, public green spaces and family-friendly experiences,” the team said in a statement on Monday.
