SanDisk Exits Suit Over Alleged Deceptive Flash Drive Storage

SanDisk LLC won dismissal, for now, of a proposed class suit alleging it fools consumers into thinking its flash drives have more storage capacity than they really do.

The product labeling precludes John Dinan’s deception claims because it discloses exactly how many bytes of storage the flash drives have, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said.
