Robotics Use Rises in Denmark, but Obstacles Linger

About a third of industrial companies in Denmark are using some form of robotics technology, but legal barriers must be lifted before the tech can be used for tasks such as food and medicine delivery, according to a study.

The emergence of a so-called “robotics cluster” near the city of Odense has gone hand-in-hand with a growing use of the technology by manufacturing companies, according to a newly released government report done in collaboration with the Danish Technological Institute, a nonprofit educational and research body, and other groups.
