Apple Inc.‘s AirPods and products made by Bose Corp., Plantronics Inc., Skullcandy Inc., and JLab Audio allegedly infringe wireless headphone patents owned by headphone maker Koss Corp., according to a series of complaints filed in Texas federal court.
Koss’ patents relate to its Striva in-ear and over-ear headphones. According to the complaints, Koss pioneered technology that has become common in modern wireless headphones, including an internal microphone that reacts to voice prompts, headphone-touch controls, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
