Hurdles abound for a bipartisan federal privacy bill to clear Congress as the legislative calendar leaves little time to cross the finish line.
But House Energy & Commerce Chair Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) is optimistic that the American Data Privacy and Protection Act can overcome the obstacles before the end of the 117th Congress.
