The Federal Trade Commission urged a federal judge to give himself more time to rule on whether to allow Meta Platforms’ acquisition of VR developer Within Unlimited to proceed.
The agency’s emergency motion, filed Tuesday, comes hours before the expiration of the FTC’s agreement with the companies to put the deal on hold until midnight, Feb. 1.
