Fortnite Security Flaw Leads to Epic Games User Lawsuit (1)

A security flaw that exposed the information of hundreds of millions of Fortnite video game players has spurred a potential class action against Epic Games Inc.

The proposed class members said they aim to show they were directly harmed by the data breach, which Epic revealed in January. The company said the breach exposed the personal information of 200 million users, and the complainants allege that the flaw led to an “ascertainable loss” because credit and debit card information was stolen.
