Florida Telemarketers Who Pitched Free Cruises Settle With FTC

Two people who worked for a Florida-based company that pitched free cruises to consumers are banned from making telemarketing robocalls as part of a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission.

Johnathan Blake Curtis and Anthony DiGiacomo, who controlled call centers that marketed cruises for Grand Bahama Cruise Line LLC, must also each pay a $50,000 civil penalty to the U.S. Treasury, the FTC announced Monday.
