FCC Seeks Media Ownership Ruling Redo From Third Circuit (1)

The Federal Communications Commission is asking the full Third Circuit appeals court to rehear its decision to cancel the agency’s new media ownership rules.

The FCC petitioned the court to review a three-judge panel’s reversal of its order easing restrictions on companies from owning a certain number of broadcast stations and newspapers in a single market.
