The Federal Communications Commission on Monday upheld AT&T Florida’s complaint that an electric utility company engaged in unjust and unreasonable practices when it failed to properly abandon telephone poles AT&T was using.
The FCC didn’t agree to amend the National Joint Use Notification System’s Abandonment Clause as AT&T requested, but did agree with AT&T that Florida Power & Light’s use of the clause was unjust and unreasonable, the FCC Enforcement Bureau memorandum opinion and order said.
