Facebook Can Keep Blocking Online Marketer’s Data Access (1)

Facebook Inc. can continue blocking an online marketer from getting user data while the platform’s unfair competition lawsuit against the social media giant is pending, a federal court in California said.

Stackla Inc. failed to show it will be irreparably harmed absent a temporary restraining order blocking Facebook and wholly owned subsidiary Instagram LLC from cutting off its access to their materials during the lawsuit’s earliest stages, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said Sept. 27.
