California Can Enforce Net Neutrality as Industry Suit Proceeds

California can enforce its net neutrality law during a legal challenge by trade groups representing companies including Comcast Corp. and T-Mobile US Inc.

Judge John A. Mendez of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California Tuesday denied a motion for a preliminary injunction sought by industry groups ACA Connects, CTIA, USTelecom, and NCTA.

The ruling is a victory for California at an early stage in the case.
