Apple Gets Corellium’s Lawsuit Over ‘Bug Bounty’ Narrowed

Apple Inc. will escape some but not all legal claims brought by Corellium LLC, which alleges the tech giant hasn’t paid it for multiple submissions under Apple’s “Bug Bounty Program,” a federal court in Florida said Thursday.

Apple initially sued Corellium for copyright infringement and violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Apple said the software company copied the operating system, the graphical user interface, and other aspects of its products without permission. Corellium says its virtual platform is designed to research and improve the operating system.
