Amazon Gets Other Tech Companies’ Support in Product Case

The full Third Circuit should weigh whether Amazon.com Inc. can be held liable for an allegedly defective dog collar despite a sweeping law protecting online speech, a group of e-commerce and technology associations told the court.

A split panel opinion of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit recently reinstated a Pennsylvania woman’s personal injury claims against Amazon.
