Amazon Again Beats Female Asian Manager’s Bias, Harassment Suit

A female Asian Amazon.com Inc. shift manager failed to back her claims that she was subjected to sexual and other harassment, sex and race bias, and retaliation while working for the company, including at a Delaware warehouse.

The US District Court for the District of Delaware’s dismissal of Emily Sousa’s Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and 42 U.S.C. §1981 suit on Thursday marked the second time it found her allegations didn’t meet federal pleading requirements. Because it would be futile for Sousa to try again, the case is dismissed with prejudice, the court said.
