Raleigh Johnston has joined Alston & Bird as a partner with the federal and international tax group in Dallas, the firm said Wednesday.
Johnston focuses on advising companies on US federal income tax issues related to transactions involving REITs, corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies, according to Alston & Bird.
He also works with clients on transactions involving joint ventures, fund formations, securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate purchases and sales, Alston & Bird said.
Johnston joins from Dentons with Don Hammett and Lane Folsom, according to the firm.
