The US Department of Health and Human Services has announced almost $27 million in awards to expand pediatric mental health care, according to HHS Monday.
The funding will focus efforts on child and teen mental health training for physicians and providing tele-consultation services, said the agency.
New programs under the American Rescue Plan have been allocated $9 million, three national organizations will receive $3.2 million, and 48 Pediatric Mental Health Access Program awardees will be given $300,000 each, the agency said.
