Brooklyn Nets Sued for Rescinding Resellers’ Season Tickets

The Brooklyn Nets face a pair of lawsuits in the Eastern District of New York claiming the team is violating antitrust laws by terminating the rights of season ticketholders who sell their tickets to a resale broker that competes with a Nets affiliate.

The Nets are trying to clear the resale market for their “preferred ticket broker and profit-sharing partner,” nonparty Dynasty Sports & Entertainment, which was founded by an associate of the team’s ownership group, according to the complaints.
