President Joe Biden announced his fiscal year 2023 budget wish list Monday, which included $464.7 million for the quasi-independent U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
The Biden administration requested $446 million for the EEOC in 2022, which was reduced to $420 million by the time it was finalized in the $1.5 trillion government spending package earlier this month. That was still up from the $405.5 million the agency was allotted in fiscal 2021.
