Schuylkill County, Pa., Commissioner George F. Halcovage Jr. (R) may attend the depositions of female county courthouse employees who accuse him of sexual harassment, but must follow certain rules, a federal court ruled.
The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania said the best course may be for the depositions to be held remotely, so as not to “add to the trauma allegedly experienced” by the women already. The case concerns “allegations of abhorrent workplace misconduct” including “assault and predation” and “official indifference” to the women’s rights, the court said Wednesday.
