Starbucks Corp. reached an agreement to resolve federal labor board allegations that the company unlawfully retaliated against workers for their organizing activities at its showcase location in New York City, according to the union.
In the first settlement related to the current organizing wave, the coffee chain agreed to remove unwarranted disciplinary actions from the affected workers’ personnel files and to post notice of the deal in the employee break room of the New York Roastery, Starbucks Workers United announced Monday.
