SolarWinds Investors Get Lead Plaintiff in Server Hack Risk Case

SolarWinds Corp. investors who accused the company of failing to tell them about vulnerabilities before a massive cyberattack secured a lead plaintiff and counsel for their would-be class suit in federal court in Texas.

New York City District Council of Carpenters Pension Fund will take on the lead role for the investors whom SolarWinds allegedly didn’t tell about product weaknesses, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas said. The court also granted the group’s unopposed motion to consolidate similar securities suits.
